Called to have the spring replaced on my garage door. My springs are 2 inch. Was told they only sell 1.75 inch???? Thry wanted to update both of my springs to 1.75. Would not just replace just the broken one. Wanted additional $180.00 to replace the unbroken sping??? I passed on the repair. Called other local door repair shops and they sell 2 inch springs. Amazon is loaded with 2 inch springs.

My door jumped the track on a Friday night. I called Precision for the first time. They set an appointment for me for Saturday morning. Adam called me at 8:10am and was at my house by 8:30. We've had a few great experiences with Precision Garage Door. The most recent one was that our exterior keypad wasn't working. After many attempts to reprogram myself, Precision came out, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it at no charge. In fact, the owner came out himself! They were very professional and courteous. Garage door spring broke on a very cold Sunday morning with wintery weather. Technician Worth arrived within 2 hours and did a quick assessment of the door and its condition for appropriate repair. Worth was very courteous & gave a fair estimate for repairs and performed his work within an hour and half. He did a clean and professional repair. I needed a new seal on the bottom of the garage door so I contacted Precision Service and was provided fats service. Shawn, the technician, was prompt & very courteous . He noticed a few issues that weren’t a major factor but could possibly cause problems in the future. There was no pressure for me to do anything more than replacing the seal but looking ahead I chose to have a lot more done mainly to give me peace of mind. Outstanding techician. Broken drum/spring cable meant that garage door seized close. This is a 30 year old door with significant rust at door track base. Sam offered two quotes on repair. He shared experiences with wear and conservatively compared present door condition against others. Made me (customer) feel confident with the decision to repair and extend service life of the original door. Technician was always polite, curteous, and quick/professional with the work. Demonstrated the work after completion and completed tasks ( bearing, drum, cable, rusted bracket, roller replacement ) within 1 hour of quote signing. I would highly recommend Precision to others.
