Called after the bracket came off the door. Amazed by how fast the service pro came. Went over door and hardware and gave recommendation to repair and improve. He went over the repaired and replaced parts. He set up the opener in both vehicles. Went over the Warranty details. Mr. Scott Peterson did a great job.

Called to have the spring replaced on my garage door. My springs are 2 inch. Was told they only sell 1.75 inch???? Thry wanted to update both of my springs to 1.75. Would not just replace just the broken one. Wanted additional $180.00 to replace the unbroken sping??? I passed on the repair. Called other local door repair shops and they sell 2 inch springs. Amazon is loaded with 2 inch springs.

I was so impressed by the whole experience of getting my garage repaired. What started out as a panicked morning of being stuck in my garage, turned into a speedy revamp of my door which has been clunky and noisy for years. The tech Scott Peterson was detailed, professional, and informative and made sure I understood everything that was wrong and everything that could be changed. I couldn't believe how fast the whole process was! I landed on this company when I saw that they had all 5 star reviews. I can now see why, because this is a great company. Unlike other repair businesses, they didn't try to upsell or quote me for anything I didn't need, which is such a welcome change from what I've experienced. May the 5 star reviews continue!

My husband and I were in need of getting our garage door fixed. It flat out would not open without manually lifting it for which even then, was way too heavy to be doing this repeatedly. I had went on line to fine the best garage door repair service in town and came across this company whom responded immediately to my inquiry. They told me that I would have a technician out the following day to assist us with our needs. For one, I was very shocked. It's not only the weekend but a holiday as well. I wasn't expecting anyone until the following week. When I was told the time frame of when the technician would come, I accepted it and was also provided the option to accept an earlier time if the technician was available. I was ecstatic when I received the call sooner than arranged that the technician could come sooner. I received a message prior to the call with the technician's name and a little about him for which I really liked to see. The technician's name is Scott Peterson. Can I just say, 5 stars is not enough! I would give 10 or more!!! Scott was very kind. He provided a thorough explanation to what he saw with our garage doors which the main one had a broken spring. He provided us options to fix it which included either staying with the original system or getting a new one installed with a lifetime warranty. He showed us exactly what happened with the original install of the current system for which concerned us that we had been in our newly built home for no more than five years, and the system was already breaking! He provided us a few options and gave us his opinion. I appreciated him thoroughly explaining his work, providing us pictures of the work, and him giving us the options of fixing our system without any pressure. Once again, Scott deserves more than 5 stars!!! I would recommend him and Precision any day!! We had more than just the springs fixed, we received a new system! Thank you so much for all you do!

Precision Garage Door of Des Moines replaced 2 garage door openers for us. Our technician Scott was great. He listened to the specific functions we wanted on the openers and tailored the units he installed to our exact requests. Additionally, Scott thoroughly inspected our 23 year old garage doors and outlined recommended maintenance and upgrades, We authorized this additional work and Scott then completed all the door repairs and opener installation on this one visit staying till the job was complete. Afterwards he helped us link our cars HomeLink to our openers. My wife and I can't believe how much better our garage doors function. We are extremely pleased with the quality job and service from Precision Garage Doors of Des Moines and their technician Scott!

I emailed Precision Door Services of Des Moines at 9:50am this morning with a broken 18' residential garage door. After a few emails an appointment was scheduled for this afternoon. Scott called when he was 10 minutes away from my home, arrived on site, assessed the situation, provided a quote for exactly what I requested and performed the repair in 40 minutes. The price was within what I expected and Scott was extremely professional, polite and very clean. All replaced parts were removed form site and I am extremely happy that I called Precision Door Services of Des Moines.

Sunday morning and my primary door wouldn't open. I called the company I used for over 10 years and they would not come out on a Sunday. I remember watching ads for Precision, specifically their "no extra charge on weekends).....music to my ears. The representative that answered the call could not have been more friendly and efficient and scheduled a tech for an hour and a half later. She asked if I would be available earlier if he could make it earlier, and that he would call before coming. He did call and come well before the scheduled appointment. Upon arrival, he asked that I give him time to take photos and complete a thorough diagnostic of the door and all it's parts in order to give me an estimate an options. Then he gave me a very detailed and understandable explanation for his concerns (everything on the door was original from 1993 except the door opener and springs). What he was suggesting was for safety and longevity, validating the expense. I authorized the work and he completed everything in approximately an hour and again reviewed all he had done and tested the door a few times while I watched. He was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions. I highly recommend Scott and Precision!!!!!

Spring broke on my garage door last night around 9:30. I went online and made an appointment for today! Tech showed up on time and did a complete repair on my door….new springs, cable, rollers and I decided to purchase a new opener as well as mine is 11+ years old. I called Precision Garage Door because of their add on TV. They came out within a half hour. He found the problem immediately and did an inspection of the entire system to be sure there were no other problems. There were several things that came up, so I asked him to install a new opener, and fix all the problems he found. He did a great job and I would recommend Precision to anyone.
