Sunday morning and my primary door wouldn't open. I called the company I used for over 10 years and they would not come out on a Sunday. I remember watching ads for Precision, specifically their "no extra charge on weekends).....music to my ears. The representative that answered the call could not have been more friendly and efficient and scheduled a tech for an hour and a half later. She asked if I would be available earlier if he could make it earlier, and that he would call before coming. He did call and come well before the scheduled appointment. Upon arrival, he asked that I give him time to take photos and complete a thorough diagnostic of the door and all it's parts in order to give me an estimate an options. Then he gave me a very detailed and understandable explanation for his concerns (everything on the door was original from 1993 except the door opener and springs). What he was suggesting was for safety and longevity, validating the expense. I authorized the work and he completed everything in approximately an hour and again reviewed all he had done and tested the door a few times while I watched. He was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions. I highly recommend Scott and Precision!!!!!

Spring broke on my garage door last night around 9:30. I went online and made an appointment for today! Tech showed up on time and did a complete repair on my door….new springs, cable, rollers and I decided to purchase a new opener as well as mine is 11+ years old. He found the problem immediately and did an inspection of the entire system to be sure there were no other problems. I recently purchased a new pickup. I saw several Precision commercials that made me think I should get my door checked out before winter hits. Scheduled an appointment and they arrived on time. I called to ask for garage door broken spring repair. After I explained the situation, the lady who picked up the phone said the price could be around $90-$189 with no labor fee. Next day, Scott the technician came and estimate the cost for me, it went up to nearly $1000 for he said the company would not change that type of spring but my garage system (not include the automatic opener) needed to be changed. I decided not to have it done at the time, but I really appreciated the free estimation and Scott is a nice guy. Thank you.

Given my wife seeing your ads on local television, she contacted your offices and the office staff scheduled an appointment to happen within a couple of hours. Scott Peterson arrived promptly at the scheduled appointment time. He reviewed the condition of our existing garage door, the history of the garage door opener and associated fittings and offered potential solutions. We opted for a new Genie garage door opener with associated parts, including new springs, rollers and chain drive. Scott worked continuously while here, accomplishing the complete installation in under two hours. Scott even took the time to program my vehicle's garage door opener button. Scott gave us a tour of his competed work, how the new garage door opener will work, and how to maintain the new pieces he installed. We could not have expected a more professional installation. The door broke at 10:30 p.m. and snow storm on the way. Saw 5 star reviews and open until 11 p.m. Called and got Scott was excellent and on time at 10:00 A.M. the next day! Gave choices, explained well and saw the problems he showed me. Set up openers to vehicles. We went with fix it all (rollers, springs, etc.) to save more trouble and another call back later, which also appealed to us with included 10 year warranty. We had the intel opener system installed six years ago by the same company. Excellent customer service!

I emailed Precision Door Services of Des Moines at 9:50am this morning with a broken 18' residential garage door. After a few emails an appointment was scheduled for this afternoon. Scott called when he was 10 minutes away from my home, arrived on site, assessed the situation, provided a quote for exactly what I requested and performed the repair in 40 minutes. The price was within what I expected and Scott was extremely professional, polite and very clean. All replaced parts were removed form site and I am extremely happy that I called Precision Door Services of Des Moines.
