So the repair team took care of the issue B4 any damage to structure or door. Repair was needed because your original installer used to short of lag screws, to mount railings to garage opening. One had fallen completely out of hardware. This what made me check the others. Found 4 or 5 more that had been overtightened and the lags were to short to begin with also. The repair lead kind of shook his head and apologized as he was replacing the short with new longer ones. Moral of the story; Quality of door was like advertised, and they made an error right....Always do your due diligence after any work, as a home owner !

This is the second time I've used Precision Doors and once again I am totally satisfied! I called today and they were able to fit me in the same day. They gave me a short window so I didn't have to wait around all day. Love that they send me a text letting me know the tech is on the way, their name, and even a little about them. My tech was Grant S. Because of the text I was able to greet him by name and know who to look for. I explained the problem to Grant as he listened and asked me questions. He looked up my service history to make sure it wasn't something from a previous service call. He looked over the situation and gave me a quote as requested. Grant was super friendly and knowledgable. The work was done efficiently and before I knew it, my garage door was good as new. He quickly assessed the problem and gave us three different options for necessary, mid-range and optimal repair service with corresponding prices and warranties. Although I have only opened and closed my two garage doors a few times since Grant finished replacing all the rollers, springs, and safety lines, his diligent and expert work has resulted in a quiet, smooth operation of our very old garage doors on a very old track. In fact Grant found a tag identifying the doors and track as having been manufactured in 1936 by Overhead Door Company, which must be correct as my house was built in 1937 and 1938. My kudos to Precision Door Service for restoring the mechanical operations of our almost ancient garage doors to work perfectly with our modern garage door openers!
