I had a spring break on my garage door, so after doing a google search I found Precision who I had seen commercials for. I filled out the online BOOK NOW form and was surprised that I could get someone out on the same day between 4-6. The tech was actually a half hour early. Online it shows the replacement spring starts @ $88 and goes up depending on the size. It also talks about having to replace both springs if one had broke, which I can understand. The first estimate the tech shows me after he looked over my garage door was over $1200.00 and that was to replace most parts of the spring assembly. Needless to say I said NO. He then came up with a second estimate and this one was almost $900 replacing just some of these parts. Finally after I said NO again, he came back with a price of roughly $400. IF he would have started with that one first, I MIGHT have said do it, but since he shot for the moon replacing everything but the kitchen sink I told him I would take care of it myself. So if you don't mind bait and switch go ahead and give them a call. I looked on Amazon and I can buy a PAIR of springs for $75 - $200. Hope this review helps someone else.

The guys did a great job. Prompt service. I thought I have one broken spring, but then noticed after they got here, both were broken. They did a pre work inspection (on the 23 year old door and 8 year old opener) and found the bearings were bad on the rollers and the bottom brackets were severely corroded. We ended up wanting everything replaced and they did the work in less than an hour for a reasonable price.

The repair services provided by Justin met and exceeded our expectations. He was friendly, professional and courteous. He took time to explain the problems that we were having with our garage door and our remote control, and he carefully explained the steps needed to correct them. The garage door apparatus was over 20 years old and presented an electrical problem regarding extra and unnecessary wires. He solved the problem and was able to install updated equipment that resulted in a smoother, less noisy door opening. Our garage door remote openers and the door are now working perfectly. This was an excellent experience. This service was provided on the same day as our initial call, on a Saturday, with no extra charge for a weekend service. Our experience was great. Someone was able to come out pretty quickly on a Monday morning. Worth did a great job of looking over everything and explaining what needed to be repaired and offering options. Everything was done within a couple of hours, and the guys were super professional and friendly. We ended up replacing our motor which came with new remotes and a keypad which we are happy with.

Funny how a $59.95 spring tuneup turned into a total makeover, which was perfect timing since all the current parts are 18 years old and due to break at any point. So now we have a new Genie belt drive opener, new rollers and springs, AND NOW it is so quiet I have to look twice to make sure it's actually moving. Nick did an amazing job, very professional and competent, and he accomplished all of this by himself in under a couple hours - would have taken me weeks. We are extremely happy with Nick and his work, will welcome him back anytime.

These are the guys to go with. The price was better than all the other quotes I got, and I was so impressed with the installer, Derek. He did the whole teardown and rebuild by himself on a 100 degree day and did a fantastic, thorough job. He took the time to make sure everything was sealed, balanced, lubricated and done right, even when the sun was sweltering. He did the entire job himself in a few hours, including loading up the old 14 foot wooden door to haul away. Very impressed with the whole process.

Precision showed up as scheduled. The repairman quickly assessed the problem *warranty covered" spring let loose and the side cables wrapped around the pole rather than the spool. He cut and replaced these and re tensioned the springs for about $320. He thoroughly tested everything-door balance and travel and with that was finished. Probably less than two hours' time.

I have used Precision Door before, so calling them wasn't difficult. I had purchased a garage door opener and replaced it myself but couldn't get it to work. After calling the manufacturer of the opener they determined it was defective so I took it back and got another one. This one I installed and called the manufacturer to walk me through all the steps to get it going and it didn't work either. I called Precision Door and Ryan couldn't get it to work either so he dismantled for me and put up one of his own up and it worked. Ryan cleaned everything up and left and I took the opener back and got my money back. Ryan did a good job and he was done in no time. I felt bad sitting there watching him work but he kept saying no problem. Next time I will just call Precision Door the first time and hopefully I can get get Ryan again.

The spring on our garage door broke on Friday afternoon. Went online and was able to book an appointment for Saturday between 2:00 and 4:00. Saturday morning they let us know that we'd been moved up to 12:00 to 2:00. Nathan arrived between 12:00 and 12:30. Gave us an estimate and quickly repaired the spring. It was an all around great experience.

Nathan was very professional in telling me what was wrong with the garage door. He suggested that I should get a new opener as the one I had was very old. I had a 20+ year old garage door opener that quit working, and it was evident I needed to replace it. I first called "Brand X" which touted 24/7 service, and while a service person did come out, I was advised that the office would call me that afternoon with an estimate and to schedule replacement. After four days I finally got a call back but told "Brand X" to forget it as out of frustration I had just called Precision and scheduled to them come out. In addition to confirming that I needed to replace the opener, I was astonished that they had everything they needed to begin work immediately. I was so impressed that although the identical opener on the other garage door was working fine, I had them replace it as well instead of waiting for it to fail. Our lead tech Kyle and his assistant were very organized and efficient, with removing the old units and installing both new units taking only about 2 hours. Very, very pleased. Thank you!
