I received some damage to my garage door during one of our recent summer storms. I called Precision for an estimate to replace the door. From the initial phone call through the completion of the installation process, I was met with professionalism and excellent customer service. They were prompt with scheduling. This is a legitimate 5-star rating. I booked Precision on a Tuesday morning when I was leaving for work and my door wouldn't close. I didn't know how to interpret the error messages from my garage door opener unit, and I was flustered from being late -- so I made a call for help. I booked online that morning and was given an instant appointment confirmation. I was contacted later that day by a customer service rep/dispatcher to better understand my situation. A few minutes later I got a phone call from my technician, Sam, who was able to arrive about 15 minutes early! We hadn't even started the job and it was exceeding my expectations. Once the work began, Sam treated me and my home with complete respect and he even took the time to educate me about the various component parts of an overhead door. Dude knows his stuff and handled the entire job, my stress included, ....near perfectly. Good work. I rarely leave reviews. And this comes on the heels of an unrelated, not-so-great customer experience with another company. Different industry. But this was enough to make my day and course-correct my week. Give 'em a call.

Precision Garage Door of Des Moines installed a new garage door opener and accessories in the past. Recently my door was closing hard the last foot before hitting floor so I called for service. The technician was Sam Mathis and he was great--very courteous, professional and helpful. He explained everything and he could not have been better. I called Precision Service at 5.30 pm ,the answering service setup an appt. for 8 am the next morning. I got an call from th tech Sam Mathis at 7; 15 said he was on his way. he came before 8 am and inspected the door ,he explained what was needed to repair the door,wrote me an estimate in minutes. I reviewed the estimate and asked him to go ahead with the work. I was very pleased with the work! Sam overhauled the door in an hour and a half,Now the door is better than it was new with the upgraded parts he used to repair it. he installed new springs-new cables-new mounted center bracke-and new rollers.Sam was very sharp,fast and freindly. Technician was friendly and took the time to explain what the issues were and how they could be remedied. He made sure I knew the operation of it and what to expect. Door opener runs much quieter than the previous one and is much easier to change the codes. A big plus was that I didn't have to wait to have the service performed. Installation was the same day as the consultation and the consultant was here within a couple of hours of calling them. Although it remains to be seen, I have confidence that I won't have any problems with the opener.

I contacted several garage door companies and had them send representatives over. I chose Precision because of the professionalism and courtesy of their representative and their competitive price. The installer came on the date agreed to and on time. He explained what he was going to do and how. He asked if I had any questions and I say no. He went to work immediately and did not loiter around or waste any time. He even courteously declined the cup of coffee I offered him. He finished the job within the 4-hour time frame he had projected. The doors look great. I am glad I chose Precision.

My garage door spring broke late Friday morning. My usual service company wasn't able to fix it until the following Monday. I decided to call Precision Garage Door after having seen their ads on TV. They were able work me in that afternoon which was great because the door was down and not going anywhere with a broken spring. Their technician Jordan A. did a great job! He started off with a full evaluation of the door, gave me a list of additional options to consider beyond just fixing the springs. I decided what I wanted done and he did it with no pressure whatsoever. I felt like I came away with a new door, it was great!

Brandon arrived 15 minutes late, outside of the 2 hour window so we were off to a slow start. We chose Precision again, for a garge door lube and tune up, after an emergency bracket repair done last year that was done quickly and adequately. After the garage door safety check, Brandon was able to explain and demonstrate several issues that needed attention. He offered several repair options at different price points. I appreciated the options and ultimately made a choice that made sense for my budget and safety. I can trust Precision and would give them my business in the future.

They installed our current system. I had a small problem late in the day, so called their 24/7 number. They showed up the next morning in a timely matter and took care of the problem.
