I called Precision in the morning and they had someone out to fix the garage door the same afternoon. Kyle provided great service in addition to being friendly and professional. Various options were provided to replace the torsion spring for our garage door and he thoroughly explained each option. If the need arises I will be calling Precision again.

We had an 10+ yr opener where the sensor eyes were picking up false indications, preventing the door from going down. I logged onto the Precision website 11pm Sunday evening and was able to make a service appt for Monday morning. Technician Sam called ~ 20 minutes ahead of his arrival on Monday morning to give us a heads up he was on his way. On site, he was very cordial, explained the situation, and some solutions--- all while not trying to upsell any product. New opener and rollers installed in ~ 1 1/2 hrs and everything is back to working as intended. Highly recommend!

I live in the townhomes around Copper Creek and my garage door would not close night before last. I am a widow 80+ years old so I locked the inside door and called my son the next morning. We called Precision Garage Door the next morning and it snowed most of the day and a technician arrived at 4:15 that afternoon. Jordan replaced several pieces of hardware and fixed the door good as new although the door is 20 years old. Very comforting to know I am safe and all is well in frigid temperatures! I am grateful for quality, affordable customer service when I needed it most!

I love these guys/gals. Came out on appt time and did thorough check on all components and found a simple solution. Very professional and will use again if needed. These service techs have had a very exhausting two weeks due to the extreme cold causing many issues. Jordan came to repair our garage doors on the coldest day in many years. He quickly assessed what was wrong with our 17-year-old door mechanisms, recommended repairs, and laid out an array of 4 options based on equipment and cost. He went to work on the necessary repairs plus an additional item -- an updated key pad -- that I asked for as well. He completed the work in less than 3 hours despite the difficult weather. He answered all my questions about the expected useful life of each piece of equipment. The cost appears now to be well worth it, and I fully expect the passage of time to validate that further. In short, at a time of a need for experienced help, I"m glad I called Precision, and it seems likely I'll still be feeling that way for years to come.

Our garage door was damaged when we inadvertently opened our SUV tailgate at the same time the garage door was opening, twisting and bending the door. The company we had used in the past was booked for several days. The door would not close and there was a blizzard forecasted in the next 24 hours. When I saw “Urgent Jobs Accepted” on Precision’s website, it gave me hope. I called and they said they would try to make it between 2-4 but could be later. Sam Campbell called me around 12:30 and said he would be there in the next 30 minutes! Sam was great! Evaluated the damage, gave a couple estimates including one to replace the worn rollers that would be in addition to getting the door back in working order, which I agreed upon. He was done in an hour on this cold January day. The door is quieter and operates smoother than it ever has! Thank You Sam for your expertise and friendly professionalism!

I had an urgent situation happen the other day with my garage door. The cable drum on one side broke and set the whole door ajar. I called Precision and they had a tech out in less than an hour! Sam M did a fantastic job! Since all of the mechanics of the door were so old, Sam had all of the materials on his truck and was able to get everything replaced with all new equipment in just 1 1/2 hrs. A true life saver as we were on the heels of another major winter storm and super frigid weather. Can’t thank you enough Precision and most importantly, Sam! ????

This company has great reviews and they had also worked on my son’s garage, and did a great job, so I chose them. I could also schedule online which was convenient. The technician, Sam, was courteous and efficient in his performance. He also came during one of Iowa‘s worst snowstorms. I would highly recommend this company.

I was so impressed with Precision Garage Door of Des Moines. My garage door broke around 8:30 pm and Eden came out to my house at 9 am the next morning (in 10 inches of snow!). He educated me on what went wrong and my options to fix it. I was so impressed with the entire experience and so thankful for Eden's expertise.
