I was very pleased that when I called about my garage door not going down, it would stop half way down and go back up, that Kyle was able to come out within two hours to look at it. He assessed the situation and started with new springs and roller bearings. That didn't help, so he checked out the opener. The lubrication I was using was all over the electronic components. He tried wiping them down and it helped, but still stopped once going down. He suggested a new opener. I said go ahead, and with the new opener, the door opened smoother and quieter than before. I highly recommend Precision Door Service for their fast and excellent service!

I manage an Independant Living Senior Facility in Ankeny. I first chose Precision because they are located in town. This year I have had to call them approx. 4 times and each time they arrive same day, with a courtesy call to say they are on the way including a text with Technician's info and picture. 2 times it was the GFCI outlet had tripped inside garage but with the door shut, I didn't feel comfortable prying it open for fear of damaging door or mechanicals. Sam and Worth are quick, professional, and very courteous. They explained what the issue was and how I could potentially troubleshoot. I will Always call Precision for my commercial and residential needs, they are simply an amazing company in a time where many vendors simply do not go the extra mile to offer top tier customer service.

Scheduling,quick and easy. Arrival within estimated parameters. Technician, professional and nice. Yet, tried up selling too much. Added some items onto the bill that he didn't tell me about, and I did not approve to pay for them. He graciously removed the items from my bill, because he said he didn't ask for an approval. I appreciate that. At the same time after researching what needed to be done, I was expecting it to cost at around $125 to $200 based on other businesses. The sticker shop was upward of $440 for a 1 hour job.

From previous times we have used Precision never called anyone else. They ghave always taken superior care of our needs. Always emergency situations and always fast, professional, and knowledgeable technicians. Got through on first call and within 2 hours had door in operation. Gal that answered phone was very polite and helpful. Technician was very freindly and helpful. Still our #1 choice when garage door fails us.

We chose Precision after talking with friends and neighbors as well as receiving an advertisement in the mail. Precision - and specifically the technician Kyle - were wonderful to work with. Kyle was on time, courteous, explained options for repair, and did not pressure us to make a decision. His work was quick, the quoted amount was what we expected, and he provided excellent follow-up for us regarding maintaining our garage door for years to come. Horrible experience was told it would be a free diagnostic and he tried charging me 200 for a repair I didn't ask him to complete. Then he had the nerve to be rude and argue with me. Worst experience don't use this company they will scam you. His literal words were I have to make my money somehow.

We awoke this morning to learn out garage door would not open. I called a rival garage door repair shop but couldn't be assured they would arrive today, perhaps not tomorrow. I googled door repairs and Precision came out at the top. At about 7:30 am I called Precision Garage, described the problem briefly, and was immediately given an appointment for service between 8-10 am. The receptionist was very courteous and identified our most pressing problem. At about 8:30 Brandon arrived, examined our immediate problem and acted upon our request to evaluate our old garage door opener as well. Very satisfied with his recommendations, Brandon repaired the broken spring, numerous other items and replaced our garage door opener, all in less than 2 hours. He was professional,l engaging and quick to solve the problems.
