I called this morning at the recommendation of a couple other veterans and was surprised to not only get a tech out this morning to inspect our garage door, but to have everything completely finished this morning as well. Was having issues with my door opening. Booked an appointment online in a Saturday and had a technician at my house within a couple of hours. Scott Peterson did a great job checking things over and gave me a quote for a new opener and remotes since mine was over 15 years old. Had everything in his truck to complete the job in a couple of hours and now I don't have to worry about it breaking down again for a long time. I called with an issue of my garage door motor not operating, a technician was able to come out in 10 to 30 minutes and called me when he was close to my home, which I really appreciated. The technician who came was named Worth Henry and he was worth his weight in gold as he was very knowledgeable and figured out my issue within two minutes of looking at the situation. He was kind enough to explain to me what went wrong and showed me what to do if it happened again. I was charged for the basic service charge and the tech also pointed out that there was only one spring on my garage door and because it is a double door there should be two springs and suggested I get a spring installed on the other side so that I don't end up wearing out the only spring on the door as it is getting over worked. He gave me an estimate for that and said call us if you want to get this fixed as well. I had a pleasant experience and would highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service as they are prompt, honest, helpful and are reasonably priced. I booked an appointment because they had a $0 service fee diagnostic. I have worked on garage doors as a homeowner changing springs etc but this issue has me perplexed. When Sam got there he was professional and told me what he thought was the issue so I decided to just have him fix it while he was there. Turned out he was spot on with his diagnosis and after an hour of work had the door opening and closing very well.
