Precision garage door meet my expectations and then some. We heard about your company thru tv advertising and are garage door opener decided to go out on us after 30 years, so I decided to call. Wow Ryan called us at 8:00AM on a Sunday and said he was on his way. Ryan was very polite and courteous, and very professional. He gave us a quote to replace our old door opener and told us how long it would take him to complete the job. We like the no extra charge for nights and weekend policy. The spring on our garage door broke on Friday afternoon. Went online and was able to book an appointment for Saturday between 2:00 and 4:00. Saturday morning they let us know that we'd been moved up to 12:00 to 2:00. Nathan arrived between 12:00 and 12:30. Gave us an estimate and quickly repaired the spring. It was an all around great experience.

I have had Precision repair and replace prior issues and was completely satisfied. That why I called them again when I had issues.I was satisfied by first the office person. Very friendly and answered all my questions. They tech will explain the problem and even explain other issues that should be addressed for being pro active They also give you a price on what needs to be done then has you sign an approval to do the repairs. Adam Looman was great! Called ahead and arrived exactly when he said he would, he also arrived at 2pm out of our 2-4 window given. The repair was much more involved than we were expecting so he went step by step to explain what he quoted and why. I feel he did a great job and we understood and appreciate it.

I needed a new Backup Battery, so I called Precision to schedule a Service Call with the replacement battery. They stated that they could get to me yet today between Noon and 2:00 pm. PERFECT!!! They followed up with a Text confirmation and then sent me the name and information about the Service Technician. Adam was fantastic! He called when he was about 25 minutes away. He replaced the battery, greased the track, inspected the springs and reinforced the lift connection to the garage door. Checked out the operation multiple times and was very thorough and efficient. A great guy and we had a little time to talk about boating and fishing, one of his hobbies. I have always been thrilled with Precision Garage Door Service and I highly recommend their service and staff.

I had a 20+ year old garage door opener that quit working, and it was evident I needed to replace it. I first called "Brand X" which touted 24/7 service, and while a service person did come out, I was advised that the office would call me that afternoon with an estimate and to schedule replacement. After four days I finally got a call back but told "Brand X" to forget it as out of frustration I had just called Precision and scheduled to them come out. In addition to confirming that I needed to replace the opener, I was astonished that they had everything they needed to begin work immediately. I was so impressed that although the identical opener on the other garage door was working fine, I had them replace it as well instead of waiting for it to fail. Our lead tech Kyle and his assistant were very organized and efficient, with removing the old units and installing both new units taking only about 2 hours. Very, very pleased. Thank you!

My husband and I were in need of getting our garage door fixed. It flat out would not open without manually lifting it for which even then, was way too heavy to be doing this repeatedly. I had went on line to fine the best garage door repair service in town and came across this company whom responded immediately to my inquiry. They told me that I would have a technician out the following day to assist us with our needs. For one, I was very shocked. It's not only the weekend but a holiday as well. I wasn't expecting anyone until the following week. When I was told the time frame of when the technician would come, I accepted it and was also provided the option to accept an earlier time if the technician was available. I was ecstatic when I received the call sooner than arranged that the technician could come sooner. I received a message prior to the call with the technician's name and a little about him for which I really liked to see. The technician's name is Scott Peterson. Can I just say, 5 stars is not enough! I would give 10 or more!!! Scott was very kind. He provided a thorough explanation to what he saw with our garage doors which the main one had a broken spring. He provided us options to fix it which included either staying with the original system or getting a new one installed with a lifetime warranty. He showed us exactly what happened with the original install of the current system for which concerned us that we had been in our newly built home for no more than five years, and the system was already breaking! He provided us a few options and gave us his opinion. I appreciated him thoroughly explaining his work, providing us pictures of the work, and him giving us the options of fixing our system without any pressure. Once again, Scott deserves more than 5 stars!!! I would recommend him and Precision any day!! We had more than just the springs fixed, we received a new system! Thank you so much for all you do!

Had a person contact me thru “Angie’s List” who installed a double garage door. Loved the door but installation had some problems! One side was hitting the rail when door was opened, loud thump when door hit bottom on closing, opener was not solid … move when in use and door was not centered! Called the guy back and got little improvement! Heard from several people that Precision was great, after seeing them in action would agree! Ask what needed to be improved, followed thru, and was very impressed how quickly they solved my problems! Thank you Precision, you will be back.

Precision Garage Door of Des Moines replaced 2 garage door openers for us. Our technician Scott was great. He listened to the specific functions we wanted on the openers and tailored the units he installed to our exact requests. Additionally, Scott thoroughly inspected our 23 year old garage doors and outlined recommended maintenance and upgrades, We authorized this additional work and Scott then completed all the door repairs and opener installation on this one visit staying till the job was complete. Afterwards he helped us link our cars HomeLink to our openers. My wife and I can't believe how much better our garage doors function. We are extremely pleased with the quality job and service from Precision Garage Doors of Des Moines and their technician Scott!
