Blake has been a technician with Precision since 2007! He's originally from Michigan but now resides in Des Moines with his wife and two kids. Blake is a hockey fan and can be seen rooting on the Des Moines Buccaneers and he's also a great cook (seriously, ask him about his famous chicken marsala!) We're happy to have Blake on our team!

Our garage broke yesterday at noon, we called Precision at 1045 pm (they're freaking open til 11 people!!), and our garage door was fixed and functional by 1030am. Cade was amazing! He inspected our property and treated it like it was his own. Upfront pricing and no pressure when selecting an option to proceed with. He gave us time to weigh our options which was great. And they guarantee their work! HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRECISION..!! Also, military discount for this Marine Corps veteran! I didn't even mention my military service. Recommended to me by a friend. I called their 24-7 service line at ~ 6 am. Technician arrived by 8:30 and was professional, knowledgeable and did excellent work. After looking things over, he explained in plain English the issues with my garage door and options to address them. I chose the things I wanted done and he got it completed thoroughly and in very good time. Very impressive.

Knowledgeable, not pushy and seemed to be trustworthy. This was the only company I called that actually could come out today (called Precision about 3 pm and they were here before 5 pm) as advertised. Three other big name garage door companies told me the soonest they could come would be Monday afternoon (yet their ads said same day service) Also was able to get 30 day quote if I decide to replace some parts that likely will need replacing without being charged another service charge.

I called for repair but decided to replace my door instead. My door was still temporarily repaired so I could close the door. Everything was done as quickly as possible. Everyone was wonderful.

Unknown to me, my door froze to the cement during the last snow we had. I attempted to open the door and quickly realized the problem. But not fast enough to avoid having the middle section of the retainer pop out of the bottom of the door. While trying to pop it back in, the entire end of the retainer snapped out and half the retainer was hanging from the bottom of door. There was a dent/bent at the middle of the retainer. On my own, I tried to snap the retainer back in with a hammer and straight edge screw driver. No success. So called for service. Service guy got the dent/bent pounded out of it, and with me holding the retainer, he was able to pound with hammer and long handle screw driver and snap the thing back in. This was the cheapest route compared to having to get a new retainer! He was kind and professional.
