It would have been less expensive to have the logistic board replaced in our old unit but with times what they are, you can't get parts. We had little alternative but to replace the whole opener unit. Ryan made that change out quickly and with little to no mess and did his best to make it less painful.

Unknown to me, my door froze to the cement during the last snow we had. I attempted to open the door and quickly realized the problem. But not fast enough to avoid having the middle section of the retainer pop out of the bottom of the door. While trying to pop it back in, the entire end of the retainer snapped out and half the retainer was hanging from the bottom of door. There was a dent/bent at the middle of the retainer. On my own, I tried to snap the retainer back in with a hammer and straight edge screw driver. No success. So called for service. Service guy got the dent/bent pounded out of it, and with me holding the retainer, he was able to pound with hammer and long handle screw driver and snap the thing back in. This was the cheapest route compared to having to get a new retainer! He was kind and professional.
